Home Building Compensation Fund Premium Increase

January 1 2020 will see the second tranche of increased premiums to multi-unit dwellings. A further two increases to multi dwelling construction types will be seen on July 1 2020 and then January 1 2021. These increases aim to make the fund sustainable consistent with the previously announced objectives of the Government’s reforms.
