Further Reforms to the NSW Building Industry

Following recent issues with Opal Tower in Sydney Olympic Park and Mascot Towers in Mascot, it comes as no surprise that further reforms are being implemented to better the construction industry. These changes enforce more accountability, greater transparency whilst improving the quality of builds as outlined by Kevin Anderson the Minister for Better Regulation and Innovation.

The reforms will follow categorisation within legislative and regulatory changes, rating systems, skills improvement, better contract standardisation and digitisation of the construction industry.
